Why would you train your leaders?
- To have them understand IAP2 International frameworks
- So they know the questions to ask to lead the approach to community engagement
- To review the function and value of community engagement in your organisation
- Understand the risks and benefits of engagement
- Learn why some project go sideways
- Explore the implications of growing online presence
This one day course is a unique product of the IAP2 International organisation. It was developed with trainers from around the world to help decision makers give strategic direction to public engagement.
We will spend a day in your workplace training your people who make the decisions that impact the public. This might include project managers, line managers, other leaders. We will work through why ignoring the public, refuting what they say or limiting their participation are not typically the best options to take. In current times, especially with the fast transfer of information via social media, lack of responsiveness will reflect on your reputation as being socially responsible. Everyone loses when communication breaks down.
COST – $6,900 + GST for delivery in your work place in any major Australian or New Zealand centre. This includes all training costs and all travel expenses:
- A one day course with two trainers
- Up to 30 trainees
- A manual and certificate for each attendee
- Application of the training to a case study that is relevant to your organisation
- Working with you to tailor the course to your needs
